We foster responsible refrigerant management, uphold a strong code of conduct, and build the technical capacity of our members to deliver safe, efficient, and environmentally sustainable cooling solutions in line with national and international commitments.
To be the premier authority and trusted partner in Belize’s refrigeration and air conditioning sector—driving innovation, professionalism, and environmental stewardship. ARACT envisions a future where licensed RAC technicians are recognized leaders in sustainable cooling technologies, contributing to the protection of the ozone layer, the fight against climate change, and the nation’s sustainable development goals.
ARACT’s values reflect professionalism, integrity, and environmental responsibility. We are dedicated to building a community of licensed technicians who operate with competence, uphold ethical standards, and contribute to a safer, greener Belize. Our work is guided by continuous learning, collaboration, and a shared commitment to sustainable cooling solutions that protect both people and the planet.
We are the official authority for RAC professionals in Belize. We license technicians, enforce ethical standards, and promote continuous training. Our work ensures public safety, compliance with the law, and environmental responsibility, aligning the sector with global best practices.
We enforce the Refrigeration Technicians Licensing Act, 2010, by registering and licensing all RAC technicians. This ensures every professional meets mandatory standards of competence and safety. We also uphold a strict code of ethics and discipline to maintain public trust.
We promote continuous professional development through exclusive, free training programs, workshops, and certification opportunities for our members. Our focus is on advancing technical skills, ensuring safety practices, and keeping the industry updated on the latest, most energy-efficient technologies.
In partnership with the Department of the Environment, we champion responsible refrigerant management and sustainable cooling solutions. We guide the sector in adhering to national laws and international commitments, such as the Montreal Protocol, protecting the ozone layer and contributing to climate goals.
At ARACT, we are dedicated to advancing the standards of refrigeration and air conditioning services across Belize. Our focus is on promoting professionalism, safety, and environmental responsibility through continuous training, licensing, and collaboration with industry and government partners.
