Upcoming Mandatory RAC Technician Trainings – January 2026
The Association of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians (ARACT) of Belize, in collaboration with the National Ozone Unit (Department of the Environment – DOE), will be conducting a series of mandatory technical trainings for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) technicians across the country.
These trainings are essential for all RAC technicians, as they provide updated technical and regulatory information and count toward the renewal of technician licenses. Attendance is also a requirement for new applicants seeking registration for the upcoming licensing period.
Mandatory Workshop Notice: RAC Technician Licensing & Renewal
ARACT hereby announces a mandatory technical workshop for all RAC technicians.
Participation in this training is:
- Required for license renewal, and
- Mandatory for new technicians applying for registration under the upcoming licensing period.

Implementation and Commissioning of RAC Equipment Following Good Engineering Practice, Proper Workmanship, and Established Installation Guidelines

- January 8–9 – Corozal ITVET
- January 15–16 – Orange Walk ITVET
- January 23–24 – San Pedro Town (venue to be announced)
- January 30–31 – San Ignacio Town, The Log Cab-Inn
Technicians are encouraged to attend the session most convenient to their location.
Important Note for Belmopan & Belize City Technicians
For technicians in Belmopan, Belize City, and surrounding areas, trainings will be conducted in February 2026.
Dates and venues will be announced at a later time.

Attendance is mandatory for:

- New technician registration.
